    The TDC High Efficiency Series DC/DC Converter is specifically designed to provide a reduced voltage supply for auxiliary electrical systems in electric vehicles. By adapting the internationally advanced digital analogy technology, it has high transition efficiency, mini-type, easy to install, open circuit operation for long time, lower static power, stable output voltage, larger capacity, well-found protecting function, high stability and long lifespan. Employing soft key technology, it has the functions of fail safe for low-voltage, short-circuit protection, overheat and over current protection. High transition efficiency, allowing sustained short-circuit, reset after shorting are its advantages.

    We always recommend running a 12V battery and not using the DC/DC as your only 12V supply and leaving it on all the time, also an additional (ignition switched) 12V contactor on the input side is recommended to switch high voltage power on and off to the DC/DC converter to ensure it gets disconnected when the ignition is turned off.

    A fuse should be installed as close to the positive source as possible of the high voltage battery (600V - 5A Fuse). There will need to be one on the output positive side of the DC/DC to the 12V battery (12V - 40A Fuse), and one as close to the positive terminal of the 12V battery as well (12V - 40A Fuse) to protect against a short in either direction.

    Wiring:
    Red & Yellow: Load side of the contactor that gets fed from the positive terminal of the high voltage battery.

    Black: Negative side of the high voltage battery or commonly to the load side of the shunt which is usually found on the negative loop.

    Blue: 12V Battery negative terminal.

    Green: 12V Battery positive terminal.
